Laurence Bradley -- Asher's father is currently MIA and most people think he's dead, though some Death Eaters know he's not. He usually operates under an alias, but I'm not sure what that alias is at the moment. He's not a good guy at all, though his penchants and proclivities are still unexplored. He is/was a Slytherin, though his family is and has been for many generations a solidly middle class family.

Amelia Westmoreland nee Bradley nee ??? -- Asher's mother is a bit of a snob. She's a proud pureblood and a Slytherin, a conniving woman with a penchant for much younger men. Laurence was about 15 years younger than her, and her current husband is 10 years younger. She might be having an affair with someone even younger these days, though her husband probably doesn't know. She comes from an older pureblood family who fell on hard financial times about a generation ago, but the old values are still instilled in her. What family this was is up for grabs, however.

Amherst Westmoreland -- Asher's stepfather. Ten years younger than Asher's mother, he was actually a Hufflepuff. However, he's pretty good reflecting Amelia's emotions and interceding on the behalf of his stepson. He's a good man who is possibly the only one with enough patience to have lasted this long with Amelia. He has at least one brother.

Esmeralda "Esme" Westmoreland -- Amherst's niece and Asher's best friend throughout school. One year below him in Hufflepuff. Her mother was a Muggleborn and died in childbirth. Esme was targeted by Snatchers during the war and didn't make it to Asher's flat in time--she was captured, tortured and raped multiple times. Once out of their clutches and healed, she broke her wand over her knee and went to live in the Muggle world. Asher is practically her only source of magical world contact, though this could change.
